October: One Last Month to Monkey Around in 2022!

October is here! Meaning that it is the last month of the season here at Trentham Monkey Forest.

 

Looking for something to do with the kids this October? Something outdoorsy with a bit of adventure? In Trentham, there are 140 free-roaming monkeys that live in total freedom, and you can visit them with your little ones for the last time in 2022!

 

The start of ‘Spooky Season’ means that it is close to the end of the ‘Monkey Season’ here, so this month is your LAST CHANCE in 2022 to see our fascinating primates!

 

From the 3^rd – 30^th of October, we have designed a Pumpkin Trail Quiz which we hope will raise awareness around the frightening plight of the wild Barbary macaque whilst keeping little ones even more entertained as it is really frightening that there are less than 8,000 wild Barbary macaques in the wild. 

 

The trail will offer your cheeky little monkeys a fun opportunity to win a cuddly treat – but only if they can avoid the little tricks along the way 😉!

 

Children will need to find every pumpkin by following the clues on the pumpkins and complete the 10 words on the quiz sheet before filling out the final special word.

 

The park closes its doors on the 31^st October, meaning the 30^th is the last day of monkey action.
