Nine is FINE: Meet Our Ninth Baby Monkey of the Year!

We are absolutely thrilled to share some heart warming news from the forest. As dedicated conservationists, we can’t help but be delighted with every new addition to our monkey family.
After being born last week in mid-July, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our NINTH baby monkey of the year.
In the midst of nature’s embrace, our hearts are filled with pride as we introduce you to our newest bundle of joy. Our primate family has expanded yet again, and this little one is already an important member of the troop with its adorable antics and sociable nature. Over the years, we’ve witnessed countless heart warming moments, and each baby’s arrival is a testament to the thriving ecosystem we’ve created here at Monkey Forest for Barbary macaque monkeys.
The wonders of nature never cease to amaze us, as this tiny creature was first spotted clinging to it’s monkey mum, early in the morning whilst the guides were feeding the monkeys their breakfast.
The sight of the baby monkey exploring its new world, under the watchful eyes of its doting family, was truly magical and a memory that we’re sure will stick with the guides who first noticed, forever.
At Monkey Forest, we take pride in our commitment to the well-being of our Barbary macaques. Our experienced team of conservationists have been diligently monitoring the baby’s progress, seeing nature take its course and observing all the love, care, and nourishment given by it’s fellow troop members, needed to thrive.
