Day Out February Half Term – Reasons to Visit Monkey Forest

February half term is looming and you’re wondering what to do with the kids. Why not visit the monkeys for the perfect day out this February half term?

With January now in full swing, February is just around the corner and it’s nearly time for us to open our doors and let you catch a glimpse of the wildest residents in Stoke on Trent.

Family visiting Trentham Monkey Forest

Reasons you must visit the monkeys this February half term:

1 – It’s your first chance to see the monkeys in 2019.

After being closed for the winter, our Barbary macaques are ready for a new season full of new arrivals and lots of monkey antics to keep you entertained.

2 – See how the forest looks in winter

Not only does the forest look very different over the winter, but the monkeys do too! To keep warm over the colder months the monkeys grow thick winter fur which means some of them look bigger and extra furry.

3 – Get your face painted at the weekends

There will be face painting with T’s Face Painting on the 16th-17th and 23rd -24th February (extra charges apply).

4 – Meet our fantastic staff and test your knowledge with our free quiz

Meet the team and learn all about the endangered species that call Trentham home. Be sure to ask questions and make sure you listen to a feeding talk too! Try and complete our free quiz and enter our monthly draw for a cuddly teddy macaque.
