Taking Your Baby To Monkey Forest? Here’s Everything You Need To Know

Thinking of Taking Your Baby To Monkey Forest? Here’s Everything You Need To Know to plan the perfect trip…

The autumn months are here and as the weather cools down, it’s the perfect time to take your baby on a fun and adventure-filled day at Monkey Forest. But as this year’s autumn weather is expected to be on the unpredictable side, it pays to be well-prepared whenever you’re heading outdoors with your little one. Though taking your baby out for a day of fun can present some challenges, you can have a hassle-free day if you plan the right activities and ensure that you have the essential gear with you. Here’s everything you need to know if you’re taking your baby to Monkey Forest.

Must-haves when you’re on the go:

Before heading out of the house, pack a bag filled with everything that your baby will need for the day such as nappies, baby wipes, a change of clothes, baby formula, food, and water. It also helps if you organise early – the night before your outing, lay out all your clothes and pack all the things that you’ll need so you can start your special day stress-free. You should also have a way to transport your baby so both of you will get to enjoy a nice walk around Monkey Forest. Instead of an open buggy, use a covered buggy for your day out. Not only does it offer sun protection for your baby, but it can also protect your little one if it starts to drizzle. Lastly, if you plan to have a picnic, pack food that you can eat with one hand such as sandwiches, pies, or spring rolls.

Planning your visit:

Babies that are 2 to 6 months old may not fully appreciate the Monkey Forest experience yet, but even if you don’t go to the Feeding Areas, you can still have a great time at the Adventure Playground and enjoy the beauty of nature with your little one. Meanwhile, toddlers may be more interactive so you can go to the Feeding Areas and take some pictures with the free-roaming monkeys. In case of an emergency, Monkey Forest has toilets and nappy changing stations so you don’t have to worry about cleaning up your little one. Once the hunger pangs hit, head to the Picnic Area to have a lovely lunch or snack. You can also have some tea, scones or a piece of cake at the Banana Cafe if you’ve forgotten to bring some food with you.

Taking your baby to Monkey Forest can be a wonderful experience for you and your child if you plan and organise well for your outing. Spending some time in nature can be a healing and nurturing experience for both of you, and you’re sure to have an enjoyable time as you bond with your baby in the great outdoors.
