MONKEY MUMS GIFTED FLOWERS FOR MOTHER’S DAY BY PRIMATE GUIDES

Monkey Mums at Trentham Monkey Forest were celebrated on Mother’s Day as our conservationists at the Staffordshire forest treated them with roses for them to eat (not put in a vase)! Within each group are several families, with up to FIVE generations.

A Barbary macaque at Trentham Monkey Forest has taken a ‘throw-in’ inside the 60-acre Staffordshire Woodland and managed to reach the Bet 365 Stadium centre circle approximately 4.8 miles away.

On the 1st March, our primate conservationists at Trentham Monkey Forest were treated to an unusual training programme, as they watched a David Attenborough documentary focused on the endangered primate they help to protect, INSIDE THE MONKEY FOREST ITSELF!
