Wildest residents in Staffordshire are back
Staffordshire’s wildest residents are back as the area’s most unique attraction reopens for February half term.
Trentham Monkey Forest is home to 140 free-roaming Barbary macaques. The monkeys live just as they would in the wild with no cages or bars, allowing visitors to explore the woodland path and walk amongst the monkeys.
The monkeys will be letting you back into their home as the popular tourist attraction opens their doors to celebrate half term from the 17th – 25th February.
Not only will it be the first chance for visitors to see how last year’s babies have grown over the winter, there will also be face painting* on throughout the week.
“It’s a great time to visit. Our visitors will be able to see our 4 little ones who are now around 9 months old – they are extremely playful at this age so it’s very entertaining to watch” commented Monkey Forest Director, Matt Lovatt.
“It’s a really exciting time of year for us as we get ready to open for the year ahead. We have lots planned for 2018, including some brilliant events throughout the year.”
At only £8.50 for adults and £6.50 for children, Monkey Forest is the perfect way to keep your little monkeys entertained during the school break. To plan your trip and see upcoming events, visit www.monkey-forest.com.
