Members Evening 2021: Sweet 16th Birthday Event

Trentham Monkey Forest will be hosting their fantastic troop in an exclusive member’s event on Sunday the 25th of July, to celebrate their 16th birthday.

In the first event of the year at the Forest, members will be given a wristband on entry and offered the opportunity to stay after hours, for an evening of relaxation. Members can arrive whenever they like and the event will officially start at 5pm once the park has closed.

On the 19th of July, the park turns 16 and the aim remains the same. To provide visitors with a unique, interesting, and educational experience, whilst raising awareness and informing society of its involvement in the conservation of the endangered wild Barbary macaques, and the research the park does to help protect them.

At 5pm-6pm, members will be treated to an exclusive visit into the monkey enclosure, after-hours, for the ultimate twilight monkey experience. Whilst in the enclosure, the troop will be introduced to Park Director Matt Lovatt who will greet members and host a Q&A session in the Monkey Forest with attendees.

For those members with little monkeys themselves, from 6pm-7pm, there will be an opportunity for these smaller members to have a less busy play on our brand-new state of the art, primate themed play area. All members are welcome to receive a free coffee or scoop of ice cream during this and have some down time in our patio area before the evening concludes at 7pm.

The Monkey Forest Team really look forward to hosting a special evening for our amazing members.
