Wild Worlds

An interactive guided tour of the forest, where we will discuss and explore the seasonal changes of the forest, the relationships between plants and animals, and feeding systems.

We'll use what we see, and of course, learn about the monkeys in the forest! Let's make learning come to life.

Working Scientifically

Using our wildlife detective skills; we will work through a question and find the answers using clues we find in the forest. Working together to find the answers, we will discuss our findings, and analyse our results. Has a science question ever been this fun?!

Learning Objectives

To identify a problem, collect data to find the answer, then analyse and discuss the findings, using a scientific approach.

Links to the national curriculum

  • Ask simple questions and recognise that they can be answered in different ways.
  • Observe closely, using simple equipment
  • Using their observations and ideas to suggest answers to questions

Aimed at: KS1 (5-7 years)

We have two museum-grade information rooms, huge play spaces - one which is fully monkey-themed with educational prompts,  a willow maze in the shape of a monkey - helping little ones to learn about the anatomy through fun rhymes, a gift shop, a café and also a picnic tipi.

Yes! We have quite a few undercover areas. Our Picnic Tipi is a popular choice. But also we do have a large undercover seating area next to the shop.

However, we have compiled a pack for education visits, that includes common risks and mitigations.

You can find that here
