Easter Monkeys in Stoke on Trent

Forget the Easter Bunny, Stoke on Trent has 140 Easter monkeys! Trentham Monkey Forest is getting ready to celebrate and what better way than chomping down on some Easter Bunny favourites.

As we indulge ourselves in Easter eggs, the Barbary macaques are taking a leaf out of the bunnies’ book and eating lots of carrots to accompany their healthy diet of fruit, vegetables and seeds – much healthier than a chocolate egg.

The forest will be getting into the spring of things with their Egg-cellent Easter Trail from the 1st – 23rd April. Children can take part for a chance to win a cuddly Barbary macaque toy.

There will also be face painting every weekend of the Easter holidays (extra charges apply).

Monkey Forest opens every day from the 1st April. To find out more about their upcoming events visit our events page.
